2006
proved to be another hugely successful year as a result of our second annual
Sunday in the Park with Lilah, which was held on June 25th, and included
appearances by Brian Williams, Patty Sullivan (CBC kids), Judy and David,
and Olympians Alison Korn and Warren Sawkiw.
The event itself raised almost $60,000 and brings our cumulative total just
shy of $200,000. With these funds, we will continue to sponsor innovative
research projects at Sick Kids to build on our early successes, particularly
with drug testing initiatives.
